About Sand & Stilettos.

We are a concept development agency. We work with organizations across a wide range of industries, designing concepts that continue to renew and innovate your brand in order for you to stay competitive in this rapidly changing world. Now more than ever we see the enormous benefit of having direct access to a devoted customer base and online audience.

Most companies have spent years building a channel to push messages out but not enough are engaging with (potential) clients and/or really listening to identify where the untapped opportunities lie. This is where we step in. We partner up with you to customize one-of-a-kind concepts that will have your brand buzzing both on- and offline, drawing in international but also local clientele and not just during holiday or high season, but throughout the entire year.

Having grown up in the Caribbean, completing university and working in Europe, Sand & Stilettos founder Gaby Lieuw traded in corporate life at Microsoft in rainy Amsterdam to try her hand at more entrepreneurial endeavors in a sunnier setting. Back on Curaçao she was pleased to find herself amongst a number of other young, driven self-starters also setting up shop that quickly grew into a community of creatives she still calls on today.

After opening her consultancy HQ27 she turned her then blog Sand and Stilettos into a company that curated a variety of experiences, ranging from tailor-made trips for travelers to developing (event) concepts for corporations to hosting visioning workshops on cultivating your brand and social media strategies. Her client list includes smaller boutique businesses such as 8 the Experience and BijBlauw, but also larger entities such as the Centrale Hypotheekbank N.V., Kooyman N.V. and the Curaçao Tourist Board. With over 14 years of professional experience, she continues to seek out projects to manage that require a creative eye and companies to partner up with looking to maintain their brand relevance in a time of constant change, having to adapt to an audience that is ultra-connected.
